Le Pavillon makes an ideal holiday place for families or groups of friends who enjoy, in addition to lazing by the pool, a variety of outdoor activities: canoeing, fishing and climbing are all accessible. The Auvergne is full of history: There are castles, chateaux, Romanesque churches and medieval towns waiting to be explored. Mariol is on the edge of the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park, Swimming, walking, mountain biking, riding, home to an impressive variety of plants and animals. We are happy for guests to bring their dogs as long as they are kept under control.

The Setting



The house has a front and back door as well as 2 entrances on the first floor.
 


Le Pavillon is set in the grounds of the Chateau de Mariol.

It has a spacious enclosed garden where children can play safely and adults can laze in the shade or bask in the sun. Badminton can be played
on the lawn.


We provide garden furniture, a barbecue, a paddling pool and a sandpit.sandpit

 

The Pool


 
 



The large pool (12x5 metres)
is 30 metres from the bottom of the
enclosed garden in the communal grounds of the chateau. The pool is shared with 4 other houses.



Inside

The front door leads into the downstairs sitting room where there is a television and DVD player. One of the sofas is a fold out double bed.

Bedrooms

There are 4 bedrooms, 2 on each floor, that can be twin bedded or double according to
our visitors' needs
.




Bathrooms

You will find a bathroom and separate toilet on each floor.



Shower room off the downstairs kitchen
 






Off the sitting room there is a small second kitchen for use when barbecuing or eating outside. The washing machine and ironing board are kept here.


The stairs lead up to an open plan kitchen and dining room.




The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, dish washer and fridge freezer.






Sheets and towels can be provided at a small extra cost.
We can provide two cots for small children.

Mariol




The village of Mariol is in the foothills of the Montagne Bourbonnaise where there are some spectacular walks and views over to the Puy de Dôme.

The village has a boulangerie and a café.
It is 5 minutes drive from an excellent supermarket.

Tariffs

Le Pavillon is available all the year round.
Depending on season, we charge from 750€-1250€.
We also welcome bookings for group holidays, courses and
conferences and can arrange other nearby accommodation and catering.
